The design was copied from an original Japanese Arisaka sling that was used during WWII. Current made reproductions on the market look too new to display, even when artificially aged. This sling already has the character from decades of use pounded into it from actual military service. It will fit beautifully with any WWII Japanese rifle and many other classic surplus firearms.
