Fine Combs Kimberly's note: I have hadGood for medium to coarser fibers. Finer fibers may require more passes to get desired results. Not recommended for fine, silky fibers like cria alpaca, kid mohair or angora. The polished, hardened steel tines have a long taper to a sharp point and shouldn't need straightening under normal use. They are flexible enough to take abuse and still bounce back to their intended alignment. The tines slant slightly back for the last 1 to the tip which helps
