I often supplement my fertile imagination with photos to capture certain details accurately

I was inspired to create my own interpretation of the video imagery from the song The River Lost

In Slash Pines and Moon at Sunrise

as symbolized by the capybara and the wolf-man

Northern Lights Paper Size:18" x 24" Alligators are a huge partNod to the Northern Lights that extended so far south in the past year. Although artist Cara VL spent a year in Duluth, MN she never witnessed the northern lights (nor a moose if we're keeping tabs). When the light pattern shifted and were visible in uncharted geography, once again the artist was shortchanged by living too far south. Here is a nod to those elusive northern lights.
