Ripe black cherry and plum fruit sit alongside earthy garrigue, dried herbs and a subtle peppery kick that speaks clearly of the northern Rhne. The palate is generous but not heavy, with good freshness lifting the mid weight tannins towards a clean, savoury finish. Terrific wine from one of the appellation's most respected names.
