Sweet Spring Peter Barger The artist regularly photographs NYCSweet Spring is an original etching by Jo Barry. A mare and foal eat wild flowers on a spring day. Like many of Barrys etchings, this work was inspired by the New Forest in England, which was once a royal hunting ground for William the Conquerer. Her labor intensive etchings, which sometimes take up to six months to complete, often feature pastoral scenes of flowers and animals.
