A mesostic poem is when a vertical word is intersected with horizontal text. Like most of Finlays work, this series of prints is concerned with nature and contemporary culture and uses words to create images. Others in the series include Mesostic', Walnut, 'Oak' and Tormentil with only the colour of the main word changing to reflect the subject of the print. Edition of 16.
